Dan Esiekpe Managing Director
Highly versatile and intensely creative, Dan has amassed an enviable wealth of experience in the world of branding, marketing and advertising. Previously Marketing Director with Unilever and Nigerian Breweries (The Heineken subsidiary in Nigeria). His career spans decades working in various executive capacities with Heineken and Unilever, in diverse markets and geographies.
Dan is a Brands leader in West Africa, highly regarded as an experienced brands specialist. Practical, logical and strategic in his approach to brands, his foundation stems from a thorough understanding of marketing and advertising from both the agency and client perspective. His footprints are global and indelible with successful stints at Lintas Lagos, Ghana Breweries, Hindustan levers, India; Sierra Leone Breweries, Heineken International Amsterdam and Nigerian Breweries.
A graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Lagos, with additional qualifications from Harvard Business School and The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. Dan is also a Fellow of the Nigerian Institute of Marketing, and an author of two novels, “The Union Manifesto” and “Return to Freetown”.
Ladi Fafunsho Creative Director/Chief Operating Officer
Ladi is most at home at the point where creative ideas and strategic brand solutions intersect. Eclectic, multi-skilled and passionate, Ladi’s world is one of words, colors, style, images and rich expressions.
Previously Head of Copy, MooreAdvice, he has also worked his creative magic at Lowe Lintas, where he wrote some famous ads like the Star Can and Maltina ads.
An honors graduate of Mass Communication from the University of Lagos, he is a voracious reader and voice-over artist. Ladi’s portfolio includes brands like, Vmobile, Peak Milk, Close up Toothpaste and he is also credited with creating reality show concepts like Maltina Dance All.
Benson Okenyi Finance Director
Benson Imuede Okenyi is a graduate of Accounting from the University of Lagos with over fifteen years working experience in Accounts/ Financial Management functions.
He is a pioneer staff in the Finance/ Admin Department of SunvitAgro industrial company (a division of Nigerian Bottling Co.)
He later joined the services of Nigerian Breweries Plc working in their Finance Department before moving to IMS as an Accountant and now a Finance Director.
Susan Aniche Strategy Director
An MBA, Marketing graduate of the University of Lagos, Susan Aniche is a thorough-bred marketing communications professional with a remarkable interest in strategy and research.
Susan has and continues to work across diverse business sectors such as Financial Services(Banks, Insurance, Asset Management, Pension etc.) , Healthcare, Education, FMCG, Fintech etc.
She has worked for local and multinational organisations such as PZ Cussons, Haier Thermocool, Leventis , Kasapreko (Ghana) Lagos State Ministry(MPPUD) , Guinness, Lafarge Plc, First Bank, Guinness, Diageo , World Bank(IFC), USAID/AIDSFree, to mention a few.
She is an associate member of the Advertising Practitioners Council of Nigeria (APCON) and National Institute of Marketing of Nigeria (NIMN). A strong advocate for continuous learning , she has facilitated workshops for organisations the likes of Orange Academy(Nigeria’s Premier Brand Management School), Kreative Klub (CHINI Productions, Nigeria’s Cannes Representative) etc.
Ellis Mbeku Team Director
Ellis is a thoroughbred marketing communications professional. Highly versatile and intensely creative, he joins IMS with his wealth of experience to imbue our brands with the creative conceit that will drive their growth.
Mr Mbeku holds a Master’s degree in Design and Interactive Media from Middlesex University, London, United Kingdom.
Before joining IMS, Ellis had held Senior Management positions at Lowe: Lintas (Deputy Creative Director), S O & U, Lagos (Deputy Creative Director) and STB Mc Cann Erickson where he was the Group Creative Director. His sharp, creative mind nurtured over two decades of food and drinks advertising will be invaluable in his new role with us.
Emmanuel Ugbebor Group Art Director
Emmanuel Williams-Ugbebor believes in simplicity. A visualizer par excellence, he has garnered an enviable portfolio of captivating graphic designs, which speak volumes on the brands for which they were created. A graduate of Economic from the Lagos State University, veered into advertising in pursuit of his passion for creativity. A results driven, self-motivated and resourceful visual director. Emmanuel has a deep understanding of graphic arts and how to apply it in creating impactful brand communication. With vast experience in prints and advertising for clients in telecoms, banks, oil and gas, finance, manufacturing and hospitality industries, Emmanuel’s portfolio comprises of many leading local and international brands including Starcomms, Multi-links Telkom, Oceanic bank, Keystone bank, Life Beer, Dangote Cement, Dangote Flour, Fayrouz, Goldberg Beer, Legend Extra Stout, Brass LNG, Samsung Climax Energy Drink, UAC Foods Consolidated Hallmark Insurance Ace Root, Ace Passion, Ace Rythm among others.
Michelle Ozigbo Account Director
A graduate of Linguistics and Foreign Languages, Michelle has considerable experience in brand management both as an Events Manager and an Accounts’ Director.
Michelle has become well versed in Accounts’ management as she has worked as Accounts Director on brands such as Oceanic Bank, Evans Medical, BGL amongst others. Michelle is also a member of the Nigerian Institute of Management.
